Anytone AT-D878UVII PLUS dual band HT DMR

Now comes the sequel to the very popular D878UV! The new radio has, among other things, received analog APRS and a much larger memory. The radio now supports 500,000 digital contacts (previously 200,000).
Since both hardware and software have been updated, firmware from the older D878UV does not work - be sure to download the correct version!
Like its predecessor, the AT-D878UVII PLUS has, among other things, roaming and Bluetooth so you can pair the radio with wireless accessories. When you buy the radio from us at FB Radio, you get a wireless Bluetooth PTT. It consists of a small flexible button that you e.g. can be mounted on the steering wheel of your car using the included Velcro strap.

The AT-D878UVII PLUS meets the DMR Tier I and II requirements. The radio offers space for 250 zones (160 channels per zone), 4,000 channels, 10,000 voice groups and 500,000 digital contacts. In this way, you can have all DMR amateurs (currently just over 200,000) on the radio, so that you get call, name and QTH in the display.
Furthermore, you also have the opportunity to use different IDs on different channels - the radio can handle up to 250 of your own IDs. Very flexible if you e.g. uses the radio both commercially and for amateur radio - or of course for FRO and amateur radio.
Unlike most other DMR devices, the Anytone D878UV has a real VFO. You can therefore manually change the frequency if desired. Most parameters can also be configured directly from the radio - so it is easy to enter a new frequency - e.g. if you need to run DMO, even when you do not have access to your computer.
You can also make settings for APRS directly on the radio.
The large color display offers clear information about status and functions as well as e.g. current voice group or ID, and shows received APRS info (both analog and digital APRS!). The reliable transmitter part of the radio offers up to 7W output power, and the AT-D878UVII PLUS has the same strong and clear sound as its predecessor. In addition to running DMR traffic, of course, the radio works great for analog QSOs, and the radio automatically detects if there is analog or digital traffic on a frequency.
AT-D878UVII PLUS is also really competent for you who want to listen / monitor DMR - both commercial and amateur radio. With Digital Monitor you hear all traffic on one frequency, and the radio shows information such as ID, voice group, color code.
With the help of the built-in GPS, you can send your position to other DMR users, and the radio can be programmed to automatically send an alarm including your GPS position, so-called "man down".
