The Sigma Euro-Comm LW-40 Long wire - top band and up

The LW-40 is a long wire antenna incorporating a 9:1 UNUN at the feed point enabling it to be fed directly with 50 ohm coaxial cable. At 40.56m in length this antenna is capable of operating on all HF bands from 160m (1.8Mhz) upwards via an external ATU. It may be mounted straight, as an inverted vee or sloper. It may also be bent or dog-legged to fit in available garden space. Also the poly weave wire will not kink and is extremely strong.



The power rating is for intermittent amateur (400W CW or 500W SSB) use and not for AM broadcast or constant carrier data modes. For AM broadcast a much higher power BALUN is required.

The LW-40 comes fully assembled and ready to go.
