This LNA has been designed to improve the reception of weak signals, 25-1300 MHz continuously.
The amplifier has a weather-resistant housing with a metal base plate and low-loss N-connectors and an HD plastic cover that protects the unit from the weather and wind. You can power it in two different ways;
Separate cable for DC voltage (thin coaxial cable is recommended which increases reliability) to the SO239 connector on the LNA base plate.
2. Feed via the RF coaxial cable. You then need a so-called injector, eg
DDAMTEK POWER-I .
Both methods are equivalent. The LNA is protected against overvoltage and against voltage spikes due to static discharges during thunderstorms.
If you live in an area with many transmitters / interference, keep in mind that the amplifier will amplify these as well. You then need to be able to set the appropriate attenuation per channel there to avoid overriding the front end of the receiver. The LNA is only designed for reception, no T / R relay is available.
